Legend.rip is operated by WEBLOOM, Žiga Štamcar s.p., a registered business based in Slovenia.

We believe in being upfront about who we are and what we’re doing here. This whole thing might be internet nonsense, but we run it as a proper business with real accountability behind it.

What You’re Getting Into

By using this website and making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t participate. Simple as that.

The Service

We provide a platform where you can pay $5 to have your chosen display name and message shown publicly on our website as “the current legend.” When someone else makes a purchase after you, you get moved to the “fallen legends” section.

What you get:

  • Public display of your chosen name and message
  • Email confirmation of your legendary status
  • The satisfaction of participating in internet nonsense

What you don’t get:

  • Any physical product
  • Refunds (all sales final)
  • Guaranteed duration of your legend status
  • Any real-world benefits beyond bragging rights

Your Responsibilities

Content Guidelines:

We support free expression, but some content crosses the line. You’re responsible for what you post. We don’t pre-screen content, but we reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines:

Prohibited Content:

  • Illegal content: Anything that violates applicable laws
  • Direct threats: Specific threats of violence against individuals or groups
  • Harassment: Targeted abuse, doxxing, or sharing private information
  • Deceptive impersonation: Claiming to be a specific person/entity with intent to deceive others (using celebrity names for obvious jokes/parody is generally fine)
  • Commercial spam: Advertising products/services for sale or repetitive promotional content (sharing personal projects, websites, or social handles is fine)
  • Malicious links: URLs to harmful, phishing, or malware sites
  • Copyright violation: Content you don’t have rights to use

Content We Generally Allow (even if controversial):

  • Political opinions and commentary
  • Criticism of public figures, companies, or ideas
  • Offensive humor or edgy content (as long as it’s not targeted harassment)
  • Strong language and profanity
  • Controversial or unpopular viewpoints

Our Approach:

  • We don’t actively monitor all content
  • We respond to reports and may remove content that clearly violates these guidelines
  • Content removal decisions are made at our sole discretion using common sense
  • We’ll consider context – obvious jokes, parody, and harmless self-promotion are generally okay
  • No refunds for content removal
  • Repeat violators may be banned from future participation

Note: You may see content that’s offensive, stupid, or disagreeable – that’s the internet. We’re not responsible for other users’ opinions or your reaction to them.

Account & Payment:

  • Provide accurate billing information
  • You’re responsible for all charges on your payment method
  • One purchase per person per transaction

Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the service at any time
  • Remove inappropriate content
  • Refuse service to anyone
  • Update these terms (we’ll notify users of major changes)
  • Temporarily suspend the service for maintenance

Refunds & Cancellations

All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once your payment is processed. You’re paying for a digital service that’s delivered immediately upon purchase.

Disclaimers

This is entertainment. We’re not responsible for:

  • Your financial decisions
  • Any emotional distress from being “dethroned”
  • Technical issues that may temporarily affect display
  • Other users’ content or behavior

Service Availability: We aim for 99% uptime but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Technical issues happen.

Intellectual Property

The website design, concept, and branding belong to us. Your submitted content (display name and message) remains yours, but you grant us permission to display it publicly on our platform.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Your chosen display name and message will be publicly visible – that’s the whole point.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid ($5). We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws where our business is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in our local jurisdiction.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
